Our New Logo

The key element of the new logo for Montrose Trinity is a “Triquetra”. This is a Celtic symbol that has long been used by Christians as a sign of the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), especially since the Celtic revival of the 19th century.

In its simplest form, the triquetra is comprised of three interlaced arcs representing interconnectedness and infinity.

Also known as the trinity knot, the Celtic trinity knot, and the Holy Trinity, the triquetra also often features an interwoven circle. This form emphasizes the unity of the whole shape and the combination of three forces. It is also said to symbolize God's love around the Holy Trinity.

In our case, the blue triquetra represents our three worship centres united within one Church. The golden circle is embracing our union, representing the love of God as well as the Trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
