What We Believe
Central to the Church of Scotland is our love and worship of God through following the teachings and examples of Jesus Christ. We express our love for God by our love and practical care for each other and for those we live with and encounter in our daily lives.
Jesus, God the Son, is at the heart of Church life. He is our Saviour and our friend.
We believe God the Father forgives us and readily accepts us. We celebrate His love.
We believe God the Holy Spirit equips and empowers in our daily lives and in our service.
We believe the Bible is God’s message for us. We prayerfully aim to live it out.
We want to demonstrate the love of God to all people.
We believe the Church is the family of God and we should be a people who are:·

worshipful and prayerful
